Clarus Award
The Clarus Award is given each year to an ER nurse who is nominated by a co-worker. The annual call for nominees is sent out to Zumbro Valley Chapter members to nominate a deserving nurse who exhibits the following qualifications.
Clarus means “light, brightness, illumination and clearness”. So the nominee must be a light to the other nurses that they work with. A professional role model, team player, a compassionate nurse, preceptor for new nurses, knowledgeable of emergency nursing practice.
The recipient of this award will receive a plaque.
