On-Line Certified Emergency Nurse Course

The ENA on-line CEN review course is now available at a discount. The National ENA has made the on-line CEN review course available and, if purchased in groups of 10, at a deep discount.  The MN ENA State Council has purchased a group of licenses and is offering them to nurses in Minnesota at the discounted price. Your cost for the on-line CEN review course, if purchased through the MN State Council, is only $100 for ENA members and $125 for non-ENA members. (compare this to the individual cost of $160 for ENA members and $200 for non-ENA members) The course consists of 15 contact hours, 12 interactive modules with video, 200+ pages of downloadable handouts, practice questions based on the newest BCEN exam blueprint, and much more.

The CEN® certification is the certification specific to emergency nursing and measures the attainment of a defined body of nursing knowledge pertinent to that particular specialty. A role delineation study is conducted approximately every five years to assure the examination reflects current emergency nursing practice. Although there are CENs throughout the world, the CEN exam is based on emergency nursing practice in the United States.

Trauma Certified Registered Nurse

The Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) exam incorporates the body of knowledge in trauma nursing across the continuum of care, from injury prevention through reintegration to home. To qualify for the exam, you must hold a current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the United States or its Territories. A nursing certificate that is equivalent to a Registered Nurse in the United States is also acceptable.
